Charley Drake
It is with sadness that we share the news of the passing of Charley Drake, a former neighbor on Sloop Pointe Lane. Charley passed away on October 5. We extend our heartfelt condolences to Charley’s family and loved ones during this difficult time. He will be remembered fondly by those who had the pleasure of knowing him as a neighbor and friend. Evelyn Bowman
Our longtime neighbor, Evelyn Bowman of Settlers Lane, passed away peacefully on September 6 at Hospice. Evelyn was a cherished member of our community, having lived in Kure Beach Village since 1994. Over the past 32 years, she truly loved her time spent living here among friends and neighbors. View her obituary here.
Georgia Daniel
The Kure Beach Village Board of Directors is very sad to inform you that Georgia Daniel passed away on August 27.
Jim Guffey
The KBV HOA Board is saddened to inform the community of the passing of former HOA Board member, Jim Guffey.
ML Smith
We are saddened to inform the community of the passing of former Keys HOA Board member, ML Smith. The world is truly better for his presence and the legacy he leaves behind.
Sandra Morgan
The Kure Beach Village Board of Directors is very sad to inform you that Sandra Morgan, of Boca court passed away on March 1st, 2025. Sandra will be deeply missed and forever cherished in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. A live stream of the funeral service will be available of the Friday, March 21, 2025 at 2pm.
Jon Roma
Jon Roma, who was a part of this community for a little over 2 years ago, passed away on January 16. His family wanted to thank this amazing neighborhood for welcoming him, including him on socials and golf outings. They often talked about bringing him back to Charlotte with them, but he never wanted to leave this community. There is truly something special about this place!
Lisa Bove
We are sad to inform you that, Dr. Lisa Bove of Sailor Court, passed away on October 26. We will miss Lisa and seeing her enjoying beach life in Kure Beach in her pink eye-lashed golf cart. The community extends its deepest sympathies to the family.
David Rickard
We are sad to inform you that, Dr. David Rickard of Sloop Pointe Lane passed away on October 25. We will miss David’s friendly nature and love of our beach community. The community extends its deepest sympathies to the family.
Carol Rabon
We are sad to inform you that long time resident, Carol Rabon, passed away quietly on Wednesday, October 30. Carol and her husband, Bob, long time residents at 745 Sailor Court, were very active members of our community. The community extends its deepest sympathies to the family.
